Before you install Lubuntu, you need to retrieve the correct image. Lubuntu supports AMD64 CPU types also known as 64-bit with a new version every six months (supported for nine months), and every two years being a long term support release (supported for three years). Lubuntu 24.04 is a Long Term Support release supported until 2027. Lubuntu 24.10 is supported until July 2025. Before you install Lubuntu, you need to retrieve the correct image.
